Welcome to Firefly Candle Studio

 I’m Dailenny, founder of Firefly Candle Studio.I’m originally from Venezuela and moved to the United States over three years ago with big dreams and goals.

I’ve had a passion for business since I was young. I remember telling my mom I wanted to buy supplies to make bracelets and sell them to my classmates. Since she couldn’t lend me the money, I decided to save up by sacrificing my lunch money. That was the moment I realized that if I set my mind to something, I could make it happen.

Over the years, I explored different ventures, from selling clothes to accessories. I was always drawn to the world of commerce and felt like I was on the right path. But life took an unexpected turn, and I had to leave my country and my petroleum engineering studies—behind for reasons beyond my control. It was a difficult decision, but I was determined to build a future in a safer place.

Two years after arriving in the U.S., I discovered my true passion: candle-making. I was going through a tough time, and my doctor suggested I try a creative activity to relieve stress. One day, I stumbled upon a video of a woman making candles, and something about it captivated me. I started researching, taking courses, and practicing. At first, my candles weren’t perfect, but with time, patience, and dedication, they improved.

I began gifting my candles to close friends, and their reactions were so positive that they encouraged me to turn this into a business. They told me my candles were unique, the perfect gift, and a beautiful way to decorate a home while filling it with lovely scents. That’s when I decided to create Firefly Candle Studio.I chose the name “Firefly” because I’ve always been fascinated by nature, and fireflies represent so much more than glowing insects they symbolize hope, love, and a connection with the divine in the vast universe we live in.

In my free time, I love taking walks with my husband and family, enjoying nature, and finding peace in the mountains or at the beach.  

My motto is simple: Whatever we set our minds to, we can achieve no matter the challenges or how long it takes. If you fall, get up a thousand times, because with effort, faith, and God's guidance, anything is possible. 

My dream is to see Firefly Candle Studio grow into a recognized brand and eventually create jobs, helping others achieve their own dreams.
